"Yes! It was him, he's home! I used your tips to lure  him to me with wet food. He let me scruff him, I did a terrible towel wrap, but he didn't fight it at all. He's home and full of purrs. Thank you!

Thank you, we'll try that. It's hard since I don't live there and am the experienced trapper of the group, but I'll do the best I can with it. I really appreciate you!

Yes it probably is him --and if he has been trapped, trap training is not likley to be good and may stress him out depending on his experience. Maybe you can use the lost cat guide to use tricks to lure him to you since he is trap shy. If not, try a drop trap and get him used to going under that at a specific time each night. Set it so it cannot fall until you are there and ready and he is all the way under.

Thank you! I went through the rest your Lost Cat Kit booklet. My lost cat in Chattanooga a previous TNR cat so I'm not sure a normal box cat trap will work for him, but if the neighbors are cooperative, I can leave mine to trap train him. Crossing all the things that it's really my missing cat so nearby! I'll keep you posted, and will definitely be interested in a consult if it isn't him, but I'm hopeful that it is!
