Kim Freeman is professional lost cat finder dedicated to getting missing and stray cats back home. With over a decade of scrapes, scars and reunion stories from all over the world, her goal is making a difference in the lives of cats and the humans who love them.
She’s been deemed the world expert in lost cat recovery, solving cases in 48 states and 24 countries. Freeman uses Animal Tracking, FBI style Missing Persons Profiling and the science of lost cat behavior to create new techniques to find lost cats.
Her business, Lost Cat Finder (founded in 2012) guides owners on lost cat recovery techniques and teaches shelters how to improve feline Return-to-Owner rates.

In a landscape primarily dedicated to lost dogs, she became a niche expert in cats after a double-certification with Missing Pet Partnership and Missing Animal Response Network. Freeman is also certified in Pet First Aid, Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) Trapping, Shelter Surrender Prevention, and Return-to-Home (RTH) Shelter Policy.
